It says you need a car pass to go on the sunrise view on Cadillac Mtn., until Oct 22. We are going to be there from Oct 25 to 28th. Can we still go? Do we need a pass? Thanks

The park website will have accurate and current information and I would check that.
Family will be driving an RV up to Acadia next month and are staying at various campgrounds. I see that not many places offer RV parking, however NPS told me that there is 1 or 2 RV parking spots at Sand Beach. Can anyone confirm? It seems like Sand beach (for little beehive hikes, etc) and the Bass Head Harbor lighthouse are the hardest to park near from an RV. Getting there early isn't an issue, but just need to know where to go? Can anyone advise? Thanks!

Sorry, we had a car so weren’t paying much attention to RV spots. I will say driving around was a bit frustrating. Streets are not well marked, Park Loop is one-way, and mapquest connection may be spotty. Good luck on your trip!
Planning a trip to Acadia in August. Need suggestions for where to fly in to, and ideas for itinerary and lodging. It’s my husband and me, we like hiking, kayaking, biking etc. Not into huge crowded areas.
