There is too much tar at this beach. Other than that this is for sure a pretty good beach. I prefer Ocean beach in SF. Full review by e_is_da_best

Very nice beach with big waves but problem is there is a huge amount of oil everywhere (or some kind of black tar). Wish the oil can be cleaned up. Sticks to my feet. Also paid parking. Other than th… Full review by e_is_da_best

Carpinteria campgrounds feels like California of past. Mikes of uncrowned beaches and trails. Great bnb’s and a dog beach. We stayed with friends at Tropicshoresapartments.com with our dog. Loved it. Full review by Tropicshoresapartmes
