How is the terrain is it flat or do you go around cliffs? the last place we went to I don't think it was sugarlands but we were scared to death because the trail was rocky, and although the horses were sure-footed you felt like you could fall off a cliff at any moment if they stumble.
A:
Definitely not flat but not near cliffs, either. Most of the time we were going uphill or downhill in the woods.

Are there ladders or ramps to help get you on the horse, or do you have to get on from the ground?
A:
No. You have to be able to mount from the ground by yourself.
