A family in the US has been reunited with their pet cat after she was accidentally mailed hundreds of miles to California with a package return. Galeana disappeared from her home in Utah earlier this month - prompting widespread searches for the beloved missing moggie.

Utah resident Carrie Clark noticed her indoor cat was missing but didn’t connect the feline’s disappearance to an Amazon box her husband had packed to return. Galeana, a six-year-old shorthair, apparently snuck into the box along with the steel-toed workboots being returned and traveled two states away to California.
