ABC sets a U.S. ratings record for a live Formula 1 race at the Miami Grand Prix. Miami/Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach rank among top 10.

The Miami Grand Prix just had its three-year anniversary last weekend, and we stopped by to see how it was doing and what it’s like to attend a Formula 1 race there now that it’s an established circuit.

This is the third year that homeless assistance nonprofit Chapman Partnership is the recipient of the food donation.

Formula 1 racing took over Miami this weekend with the third annual Miami Grand Prix. From May 3 to May 5, fans watched the best of the best in Formula 1 take on the 57 laps of the Miami International Autodrome.

This beat the previous record of 2.6 million viewers set by the inaugural Miami race in 2022 and was up 48% over last year’s edition, which attracted 2.1 million viewers. The Miami Grand Prix is now responsible for the top three live US television audiences in F1’s history.
