According to the latest projections from Deadline, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is looking at a $50M+ debut in North America this weekend, and a worldwide haul of over $130M. That puts it just behind the $56.

It was a neck-and-neck battle atop the U.K. and Ireland box office between Paramount's 'IF' and Disney's 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.'

Disney and 20th Century's "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" conquered the international box office again with $40.6 million in its second weekend of release. So far, the fourth chapter in the "Apes" reboot franchise has generated $136 million overseas and $237 million globally.
