Alexandra Horowitz's book, Expert Eyes, is an interesting take on how we are aware of the world around us. The author took walks through NYC with experts in different fields and learned to see the city through their eyes. She also writes a section from her dogs point of view, providing a unique perspective on the city. The book is a great exercise in different perspectives and is highly recommended.
